Food Day 2013 celebrates anyone who grows, sells, buys, prepares, or eats locally grown foods!

It's a national celebration of healthy, affordable, and sustainably produced foods. Food is a big part of our health, our quality of life, and the local economy. Food Day Bowling Green 2013 celebrates the wealth of quality foods available locally, and helps link people to good foods.

10:15AM - 12:30PM Morning Breakout Sessions

EAT: For anyone who is thinking about eating healthier, or eating local.

GROW: For backyard gardeners, hobbyists, and potetial farmers: backyard chickens, beekeeping, rain barrels, and composting

FARM: For small-scale farmers wishing to expand their options: Kentucky Proud, grant writing, creative marketing, and value-added production
12:30PM - 1:30PM Lunch (Catered by Home Cafe & Marketplace - $10 ticket required)

Farm tours of the vineyard & future winery, cheese processing facility, winter vegetable production, local beef production, and honey production at 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 PM.
4:00PM - 6:00PM Farmer's Market & Hay Rides with Big Red

Farm tours, $2 in wooden tokens for kids, tour the mobile market
